Landscape therapy means healing through the view, and that is not a poetic exaggeration: as far back as 1984, clinical research showed that looking at nature speeds up recovery. In the Carpathians the method works at full strength — the outlines of spruces, green mountain meadows, the sound of springs and the mountain paths are a treatment for sight, hearing and smell all at once.
How to "take" the view
The recipe is simple: unhurried walks around the grounds and along forest paths, morning coffee with a view of the lake, an evening by the water. Moderate physical activity is an important part of the method, so the routes around Ozero Vita also suit a first hike: we wrote about getting ready for one in a separate guide.
Who needs it
Anyone the city keeps in a rhythm of "concrete-screen-deadline": landscape therapy brings back calm and resilience to stress, and evens out sleep, appetite and blood pressure. It is the most accessible treatment at the resort — it begins the moment you arrive and has no contraindications.
Add to the effect with aerotherapy (clean mountain air), heliotherapy (measured sunshine) and orotherapy — together they make up the natural wellness "quartet" of the Carpathians.
