Salt room

Salt room

Halotherapy: air saturated with salt ions for the airways, immunity and calm sleep.

The salt room at Ozero Vita reproduces the microclimate of a natural salt cave: the walls and floor are covered with a layer of salt and the air is saturated with its ions. A session is 30–40 minutes of rest in a comfortable chair, breathing calmly; no medicines and no injections, which is why halotherapy suits adults and children alike.

Benefits for health

  • thins mucus and makes coughing easier;
  • improves blood microcirculation;
  • lowers stress and anxiety, settles sleep;
  • supports the clearing of toxins and strengthens immunity.

Halotherapy is recommended for bronchitis, asthma outside a flare-up, dermatitis, recovery after pneumonia and the prevention of respiratory infections. The salt coating has bactericidal properties — microorganisms settle on the walls and die, so the air in the room is cleaner than the mountain air.

When to postpone a session

Like any physical treatment, halotherapy has its limits: acute conditions with a fever, flare-ups of chronic illness, some heart conditions and cancer are a reason to consult a doctor first. If in doubt, the front desk will suggest where to start.

The atmosphere at Ozero Vita

Coloured lighting brings out the texture of the salt blocks and adds to the sense of calm. The salt room is open to all guests of the resort, wherever they are staying; more about the method is in the article on halotherapy, and the price is in the price list. It works best as a course: 5–10 sessions per stay.

Frequently asked questions

Everything about "Salt room"

The questions guests ask most about the session, booking and what to bring with you.

How long does one session in the salt room last?

One halotherapy session lasts about 60 minutes. You settle comfortably into a chair and calmly breathe the salt air — no effort required.

How much does a visit to the salt room cost?

For guests of the Ozero Vita resort, a visit to the salt room is free.

How many sessions are needed for results?

The effect of halotherapy builds up gradually, so we recommend a course of 10–20 sessions. That way the body has time to respond to the regular salt microclimate.

Can I visit the salt room with children?

Yes, the salt room is suitable for children too. The calm setting, colour lighting and quiet music help little ones get through the whole session easily.
