At Ozero Vita the water comes not from a mains pipe but from our own spring of highland "living" water. It runs from the taps in the rooms and cottages and can be drunk without a second thought — one of those quiet luxuries that set a stay in the mountains apart from the city.
A natural filter 800 metres high
The resort stands in the village of Nyzhnii Studenyi at about 800 m above sea level, far from industry and main roads. Before it reaches the surface, the spring water passes through layers of sand, gravel and rock — a natural multi-stage filter that removes impurities and saturates the water with minerals. The swift mountain stream breaks over the stones and takes on oxygen.
Why it tastes different
Thanks to its low mineral content, this water can be drunk every day: it has none of the pronounced taste of medicinal mineral waters, refreshes quickly and goes down easily. It is the water the resort's restaurants cook with and use to brew Carpathian herbal teas.
Taste mountain water where it is born: in the middle of the forest, where instead of exhaust fumes there is the scent of spruce. Together with clean air and wellness treatments, it works towards the main result of a holiday — restored energy.
